JavaScript Job: Lead Engineer (M-F)

SantéVet is the market leader in pet health insurance in France and Belgium, with established operations in Germany and Spain. SantéVet was founded in 2003 in Lyon by Jérôme Salord, and now employs around 400 people in Lyon, Lille, Barcelona and Frankfurt. Your working environment

Permanent contract (CDI) in the former Citroën garage in Lyon 7.

Ideal location (tramway at the bottom of the building, metro nearby, 2 steps from Place Bellecour).

Your working days : Monday to Friday in a hybrid teleworking approach

Your responsibility

• Cross-functionally lead a team of Developers on different topics to maintain a product or domain

• Be an example of best practice implementation

• Monitor and ensure the balance between feature delivery and technology debt

• Drive team-level implementation of defined delivery processes

• Work hand in hand with the Product Owner to agree how to deliver but also what you should deliver

• Manage the growth, performance, expectations and progress of each report

• Hold 1 - 1 meetings with team members

• Conduct quarterly performance reviews to give and receive feedback on performance, team satisfaction and targets for each report

• Set targets for team members, with the support of the Head of Development, and you will be responsible for guiding them to achieve these targets

• Participate in the recruitment of new team members

• Participate in meetings with Lead Developers from other teams

• Participate in developments with your team members

• You will communicate continuously with the teams to be aware of changes, possible collaborations, opportunities, as well as everyone's roadmaps

Your profile

You have 8 years or more of experience with at least 3 years as a Lead Developer You are autonomous, pro-active as well as a force of proposal You have a strong capacity of learning to multiple and varied technological environments You have a strong leadership and good relational skills Fluent in English would be a plus
